Haryana CM Bhupender Singh Hooda concluded his appearance at the All-India Senior Citizens Confederation conference with a surprise announcement of a large personal donation of 10 lakhs to the confederation to help it develop its program. "the Haryana government has undertaken numerous different programs for the benefit of the elderly, through which they can both get self respect and also make a living".

Dr SAJJAN SINGH, Executive Chairperson of ISU3A, visited Lucknow on invitation of BHAVANA and spent two days-10th & 11th Nov'10 visiting various places.

'SAMARPAN' Old Age Home. After formal welcome he was taken around the home and interacted with the residents comprising of highly literate persons from art and culture hailing from all religions.
BHAVANA's CHARITABLE PHYSIO THERAPY CENTER , where he was apprised of latest equipment and facilities available.
AASTHA Hospital & Hospice, known to be only Geriatrics and Palliative Care Center in North India Dr Abhishek Shukla explained the facilities available there and special care and treatment granted to Elders .

On 11th Morning he visited a new complex ( sort of community center) coming up in 40000sq ft area in Lucknow. It will house an OLD AGE HOME, a Temple, a primary school to be run by resident senior citizens for destitute children ,a Reading room A Hall and lot of Green area.

Bhavana called Special E C Meeting on 11th to felicitate Dr SAJJAN SINGH. He delivered a talk on "Stages of Motives of Human beings ".
